Yogi Chetan Mahesh ji born in a Vedic family, a family in which all the members used to chant Vedic mantras and practice yoga daily. In childhood he was greatly influence by his father and brother who taught yoga to him in begining and later he learned yoga asana with Yogi Balmukund ji, pranayama with Swami Vijayanada ji , philosophy from nswami sivananda ji maharaj, Swami Dayananda ji and Osho ji and samadhi with swami Chinmayananda ji and Piolet Baba ji.In the year 1984 he became the champion of yoga sports in Haryana Province while studying in the school.
After finishing school education he went for study in college in bio-science stream with yoga as optional subject and also master of education which give him an upper hand while teaching and explaining yoga anatomy and physiology and teaching methodology. He was continuous yoga sports champion for five years in college and won all India interuniversity yoga championship, during this period he meet many famous yogis and learned different styles of yoga. In 2000 he became the part of National Institute for Yoga and did one-year diploma in yoga along with yoga therapy and was deputed to Germany by Government of India to teach yoga there.
He finished his Master of Science degree in yoga in 2003 and engaged in imparting yoga teachers training and visited China, South Korea, Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan and Malaysia to spread knowledge and education of yoga.
After imparting yoga teachers training in Japan he went to Himalayas with his spiritual Teacher Swami Tanmayananda and did spiritual practice and awaken the kundalini power and learned thousand types of breathing and meditation techniques. He is very famous for his workshops on ashtanga yoga and pranayama in South Korea and in Malaysia while teaching at True yoga. He was the yoga faculty in Choone College in yoga department in South Korea.
In 2005 he became the founder secretary of Association for Yoga and Meditation, India and imparting yoga teachers training under this organization has trained 10,000 yoga teachers up to now. He is dedicated to develop best yoga teacher-yoga instructor quality in yoga ttc students in Rishikesn, India.
Chetanya Ji has been practicing yoga for over 15 years and expert in teaching different styles of yoga including Yoga for pregnancy, Iyengar based Hatha, Flow, AshtangaVinyasa lead series, meditation and pranayama. Her classes are focused on linking breath with movement in asana to activate energy, slimming and calm the mind and enjoy the art of connection with meditation. Chetanya loves to share her practical knowledge and spirituality of yoga, and to help her students to track their progress.
Chetany’s educational background includes Master degree in Yoga from Uttarakhand Sanskrit University, Diploma in yoga, and she is registered with IndianYoga Alliance USA at the E-RYT 500 level.
Chetanya was born and has grown up in world capital of yoga learning yoga with traditional masters, in different ashrams, she had the opportunity to live, learn and practice traditional Ashtanga yoga (8 fold path as per Patanjali’s Yoga Sutra) as well as modern yoga. The deep study of yoga made her to become truly conscious and ever present. So now when Chetanya steps on the mat she knows she’s going to found the greatest tool to connect the body, mind and spirit at deeper level.
Yogini Manisha has been serving AYM organization through her teaching and in the design and development since 2010. Born and raised in Rishikesh, she has also studying and taught here in the world capital of yoga. Her educational background includes diploma in yoga, graduation degree in arts and study with many teachers including K. Pattabhi Jois of the Ashtanga Vinyasa tradition, Iyengar Yoga from Yogi Chetan Mahesh and Yogini Usha Devi.
She is a multi – style yoga teacher at AYM well versed in hatha, ashtanga vinyasa primary and secondary series, kundalini yoga, sivananda yoga flow yoga. Yogini Manisha is dedicated to creating an amazing experience for students and hoping to inspire them and giving them the tools to develop in their practice. She focuses most of her teaching of Vinyasa yoga on synchronization of breath and movement mixed with creativity and the importance of activation of subtle energies.
Jaya is from Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. His yogic journey began in 2007, when he joined a gym in Kuala Lumpur to attend the yoga classes conducted there. His interest and passion in Yoga grew after he came to know about the Late Guruji BKS Iyengar. Ever since then he was looking earnestly to study the method that was given by the great master whom emphasized on spiritual Yoga, precision, and alignment in his method.
While looking for a teacher whom can guide him further in this subject of Iyengar Yoga, he met Parveen Nair and became his student since then.
During the course of study for 3 years he also conducted 2 classes a week teaching the method of Iyengar Yoga to his students and also attended multiple Yoga workshops run by Parveen Nair and Rina Ortiz to further enhance his knowledge.
While pursuing his studies and practice in Iyengar Yoga, Jaya’s interest and curiosity in Yoga philosophy and Vedanta grew. He met and became a student of Maha Mandaleswar Swami Abhishek Chaitanya Giri when he came to Swarupa Iyengar Yoga Malaysia in 2010 for his yearly discourses. He has been consistently studying Advaita Vedanta under Swamiji whenever he comes to Kuala Lumpur to spread Vedanta.
Now his deep interest and passion in the subject of Yoga and Vedanta has brought him to Rishikesh as a student and also as a yoga teacher.
Yogi Sandeep is a Master degree holder of yoga from Sanskrit University of Haridwar and has learned mediation from hundreds yoga yoga masters in rishikesh. He is currently leading and guiding deep meditation to students at AYM Yoga School, Rishikesh at advance level. He is a spiritual leader of AYM yoga school in Rishikesh India. He got trained by traditional teachers of Swami Ram Sadhaka Grama, and specializes in teachings of teaching Pranayam techniques, meditation methods and Yoga Nidra.
Dr. Gaurav Agrawal has a Ph.D teaches Philosophy of Patanjali Yoga sutras last 10 years in rishikesh. He is born and brought up in Rishikesh and has learned many kinds of traditional meditation. He is one of the best yoga philosophy teachers in Rishikesh India. Being a professor of yoga, Dr. Gaurav found that there are a number of similarities in philosophy and psychology. He loves to share his ancient knowledge and is a great promoter of ancient knowledge of yoga, which is beyond normal understanding of human-life.
Sumit has learned yoga and an expert in the fields of physical therapy, posture imbalance and sedentary life disorders. Dr. Sumit teach yoga in combination with therapy and human physiological.
He has a Master’s degree from the orthopedic branch, in Physical therapy, and a diploma course in sports medicines from West Bengal. He has also done training as a Pilate’s instructor from Mangalore based Indian Academy of Fitness Training. Students like him for his style of teaching by which he conveys in-depth and practical knowledge of Anatomy and Physiology to his students. Till date, he has taught hundreds of students from over 35 countries. He is one of the leading teachers at AYM Yoga School & also at the academy of manual sciences.
Currently he is the HOD at Nirmal Ashram in Rishikesh, India and works as Chief Physiotherapist at Shiva Cricket Academy.
Yogi Mahesh has done P.G. Diploma and M.Sc. in yogic sciences and was the topper of the batch, for which he was awarded with gold medal. Currently he is pursuing Ph.D in yogic science and teaches Yoga Therapy along with Ayurveda, Philosophy. Other than that, Mahesh has also provides relief to people with the help of Acupressure, Marma Therapy.
Yogi Arpit share his knowledge of yoga at AYM Yoga School, Rishikesh as a teaching methodology teacher and help the teacher-training student to develop their teaching skills. He completed his yoga studies from Bihar School of Yoga in Munger. He learned traditional yoga under the aegis of Swami Niranjanand and teaching methodology from Usha Mata ji the best teacher in rishikesh. He believes in simplicity and discipline life. Arpit is full of energy, which helps him to motivate students so that they can focus deeply while remaining firm, and can improve their inner strength and determination.
Vikal is another efficient yoga teacher who has done Masters in yoga and meditation. At AYM Yoga School, he shares his knowledge with students on pranayama and meditation and his commitment and passion are contagious. Vikal shuts down to outside world when he enters class and focuses his energies on teaching students in best possible way. His energy and enthusiasm enable students to learn in a joyful environment.
